Where To Stay

Charming Stays in Eymet

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you and truly appreciate the effort you are making to join us!

As we will be celebrating in the heart of South West rural France, large hotels are not a thing… but that is all part of the charm. Instead you will find a lovely mix of B&B’s, gîtes and holiday homes dotted around Eymet and the surrounding countryside.

To make things easier, we have put together a selection of nearby options along with links to websites where you can browse and book directly. We hope this helps with your planning!

Bed & Breakfast

If you are looking for somewhere with charm and character, a bed and breakfast is a wonderful choice. The wedding celebrations will take place in and around the beautiful town of Eymet, so staying nearby means you’ll be right in the heart of the festivities and able to enjoy everything this lovely village has to offer.

Expect cosy rooms, delicious breakfasts, and friendly hosts who will make you feel instantly at home. Whether you are joining us just for the night or turning the occasion into a full weekend getaway, the local B&Bs provide the perfect base for celebrating (and recovering from the big day).

There are plenty of lovely options available, but we recommend browsing a few accommodation websites to find something that suits you best. Just a little tip… don’t leave it too late to book! August is peak season in Eymet, and places are already filling up quickly.

Gîtes & Holiday Homes

If you would prefer a little more space or perhaps your own pool, a gîte (that’s pronounced zheet) could be the perfect option. These self-catering holiday homes are often set in the peaceful countryside around Eymet, offering a relaxed and flexible stay.

Gîtes are ideal for groups who would like to make a weekend (or even a week!) of it, with the freedom of your own kitchen, garden, or terrace. From charming rustic cottages to stylish modern villas, there is something to suit every taste and plenty of space to unwind between celebrations.

As many gîtes are tucked away in more rural spots, we recommend having a car to make the most of your stay and explore the beautiful surroundings at your own pace.

We’ve included some links below to recommended websites where you can browse local gîtes and holiday homes.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We recommend booking sooner rather than later, especially since August is peak season with many festivals and markets happening nearby.

Many websites offer “book now, pay later” options and free cancellations, which is perfect if you’re still finalising your plans. To avoid disappointment, it’s best to secure your accommodation early!

  • The Château is just a 5 minute drive from the town of Eymet so we recommend that guests stay in or around Eymet.

  • On the day of the wedding, we will be providing a coach to and from the Château to make getting there and back easy and stress-free. The coach stops are to be confirmed but will be in and around Eymet.

  • Some accommodation offer dedicated parking spaces, so we recommend checking directly with your hosts when booking. But if not, Eymet is free to park everywhere so it won’t be an issue.

  • If you’re staying in the heart of Eymet, you will find plenty of restaurants and bars open throughout the weekend. There are also a few local shops where you can pick up all the essentials. Just keep in mind that many places in France are closed on Sundays!
